@BigMicgetbusy from @StXTigersFB is the @1776Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week. @minguabeefjerky @g_mcpeek @EKUWWells @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball

July 30, 2021 Henry Lyon 0

This week’s “Revolutionary Player of the Week” is St. Xavier’s Micah Carter. The 6-5, 250-pounder is one of Kentucky’s very best at his position in either the ’23 class or any other. He already has an impressive list of offers and won the Defensive MVP of the EKU Big Man Challenge this past Saturday. Congratulations to Carter and join us again a week from today when we award this to another fine recipient. HB.

We were pleased to attend the Eastern Kentucky University Seven on Seven and Big Man Challenge this past Saturday in Richmond, Kentucky. We were so thrilled to get to attend we sent two guys as Fletcher Long and I rode together. We are awarding the OL MVP this award today and this Friday the Defensive MVP will be the “Revolutionary Player of the Week” for Independence Bank. The event was worthy of sweeping the weekly awards. It was just that good. Enjoy this feature and get yourself some of the world’s finest beef jerky today! HB.

@LucasWyatt8 from @FootballJCHS is set on taking advantage of second chances. @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @1776Bank @JCAthletics_

Lucas Wyatt plays for the preeminent offensive line in Kentucky High School football. They are called the “Pancake Platoon” and nobody gets down hill in the run game like the Johnson Central Eagles. Everyone in the stadium knows it’s coming; yet, no one can stop it. Enjoy this feature about a leader along that front stationed at LT but destined to move to guard next level. Enjoy the feature. HB.

@briiiann23 (Brian Thomas, c/0 ’22) from @pths_football (Paducah Tilghman) a big time, 3rd-level defensive prospect! @minguabeefjerky @KyHighFootball @PrepSpin @1776Bank @Lemmingscouting

July 24, 2021 Henry Lyon 0

We just learned Brian Thomas will be back at Tilghman for the ’21 season. If his production should increase proportionately to how it increased from ’19 to ’20, our pick of “The Blue Tornado” at number two in the preseason Class 3A football poll is looking better all the time. Enjoy the feature. HB.

@Matt_Davis32 from @PaintsvilleFB plans to help take his Tigers back for a second championship. @PaintsvilleAth @Bmelvin66 @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

Here is one of his classification’s very best two-way linemen. Matthew Davis has led his team to the “Promised Land” once; can they return? Well, that is the 64-dollar question isn’t it? Enjoy this look at a player who will certainly leave his mark in ’21 and will be moving on to “Saturday Ball” come the Fall of ’22. HB.

@RylanGeorge1 from @UCBraves is about to run away from his competition. @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

Sometimes predicting stardom in the future for some athletes is just too easy. Such was the case for Rylan George. George is a ’24 prospect about whom everyone will know in very short order. One day, we will look back on this article and wonder how in the world we were the first to predict this. We believe this may be a “Power 5” guy going forward. HB.

@Jaxonpanariello from @StXTigersFB is the @1776Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week. @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball

July 16, 2021 Henry Lyon 0

Here is a superstar who has already found the top of the leader board in numerous statistical categories for Louisville St. Xavier’s defensive unit in ’20 while only a sophomore. Guess what, he played as a freshman too, something which “never happens” to hear people talk. This kid here will be a household word across Kentucky before the coming season has expired. If we learn to spell “Panariello” all of our collective IQs will increase too. Won’t that be swell? Join us again next week as we crown another lucky Revolutionary Player of the Week. HB.

Preseason look at Class 4A; here’s our look at the top 5. @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

These preseason polls have been super hard to research and write. For one, SB-128 has made forecasting who’s back and who’s moved on super dicey to predict. Thank the Lord for Twitter. Here is our look at Class 4A. This classification figures to be super competitive, especially for the 5th slot in the poll as 6-8 teams could have been slotted there. Anyway, it is all for fun. Enjoy the feature. HB.

This is another kid who decided to reclassify under SB-128. Like QB, Cameron Hergott, before him; it appears to us this decision may just pay off big time for the ’22 QB. Brady Clark has all the intangibles and tangibles colleges crave for his position. Now he has him a sweet T-shirt and a box of the best jerky product on the market headed his direction. Join us next week when we award this to another lucky recipient. HB.
