Christian Larkey is fortunate enough to be born into one of the first names in Kentucky high school football. That shouldn’t (and doesn’t to us) take away from his own prowess and success he has had playing the game his family has loved and steered all these many years. Enjoy this feature about this very fine junior RB, FS, WR and don’t forget to #Savortheflavor. FL

Hai Shee moved to Louisville, Kentucky from Indianapolis, Indiana. We don’t know what kind of football player he was in ‘Nap Town,” but we have it on good authority he was a fine Golden Gloves boxer. Those skills are suiting him well on the football field for the Ravens. Enjoy the feature. FL.

If picking a KY HS football team, Zander Curry from Corbin is likely our first draft pick… @ZanderCurry2024 @CoachLash @CentreFootball @coachelam7 @CoachHaddix @ThomasEGreer2 @minguabeefjerky @HLpreps @kyhighs @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @MaxPreps

Zander Curry is a throwback to the days when college football stars were versatile and called upon often to contribute to the team’s efforts in all three phases of the game. This kid scores TD’s, long-snaps, houses kick-offs, makes tackles, recovers fumbles, and even intercepts passes (7-INT’s in ’22). If he is going to do all that, perhaps he should just take home next year’s Mr. Football Award while he is at it. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Christopher Reed, Jr. (’27) looking to get into the mix early. @Christo54247891 @coachpayne64 @Woodfordqbclub @FootballWcms @ScottC_Scout @1776Bank @minguabeefjerky @kyhighs @HLpreps @KyHighFootball @_CoachManning @HopkinsCentral

Christopher Reed, Jr. has already made two Future Stars rosters. That should tell you about all you need to know about whether this player has a chance to see the field his freshman season playing at one of the better programs in Kentucky 5A. Enjoy this feature about an upcoming HS player we believe will see quite a bit of varsity run. HB.

Clark is like so many outstanding middle schoolers across the Louisville area. He is awaiting Future Stars tryouts like so many others. This is an impressive kid who is very skilled right now. It may prove scary to see what he becomes in the future. Enjoy this feature from Kentucky’s fastest growing financial institution; setting the standard for excellence in the financial services, Kentucky market. HB.

This guy here is called Kaden ‘K-Dot’ Mack. He is also know as ‘K-Mack’ to some. He is an explosive and filthy-fast athlete who can break you down with his arm or his feet. We expect he will be on the Future Stars roster this coming Summer. Might ought to learn about him now. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Harlee Egbert is the @minguabeefjerky Protein-packed Performer of the week. @harlee_egbertFB @CoachjjClark @TheCoachHolman @Yfnmcnary @HopkinsCentral @_CoachManning @1776Bank @kyhighs @HLpreps @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @MaxPreps

Harlee Egbert is an example of the type HS player we relish rewarding at Mingua Beef Jerky. He is a hard worker on the field and in the class room and achieves remarkable results both places. Enjoy this feature about this very fine junior LB/FB and don’t forget to #Savortheflavor. HB

Amare Black from Union County among the last Braves standing… @UCBraves @55CoachJohns @KrisHughes04 @amargeGcampbell @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @HLpreps @MaxPreps

To say the Braves lost quite a bit of production off its 12-1 Regional Runner-up in ’22 may be a bit of an understatement. These guys really took a hit at the hands of the graduation stage. However, the Braves return one of the better DE’s in Kentucky’s Class of 2025. Will it be enough to catapult the Braves to the top of its newly realigned district? Maybe…just maybe. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Blast from the Past: Blasin Moore gets a second chance! @teeroyhowell @HopkinsCentral @Coach_Lovely @evans02_mike @_CoachManning @CoachLuttrell49 @moore-blasin

Here is a kid who has been out in the working world and realizes that college degree changes his entire career arc. He is getting an opportunity to go to Barbourville, Kentucky and play for John Luttrell’s “Bulldogs.” Coach Chris Manning at Hopkins County Central has made it happen for him. That is the kind of man for whom I would want my son to play. HB.
