Aiden Jesse is the @minguabeefjerky Protein-packed Performer of the Week @CoachAtchley @ColonelFootball @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @840WHAS @KyHighFootball

’26 WR/DB has a lot to recommend him physically

Aiden Jesse is a 6’3,” WR/DB who can play out wide or at safety defensively at the next level. He plays basketball for the Colonels and is known as a “high riser” on the hardwood. He is among the more productive rebounders on the squad and routinely pulls off some nasty dunks. We like Jesse as a football prospect. He is long, tall, and fast and those are three characteristics one can’t coach. You either have it or you don’t. Jesse has it. Look for him to have a huge senior year.

Mingua Beef Jerky uses Enviro-Pac CHU-2000 equipment to cook its meat to USDA required levels for both moist or dry operation. Mingua Beef Jerky wants you to become one of its many satisfied customers by sampling its quality hand sliced, all natural beef jerky. We know you’ll love it and come back for more, again and again.

Ronnie Mingua began experimenting with making beef jerky back in the 1990s. He shared his efforts with neighbors and friends, soon realizing he had come up with something different and superior to all other beef jerkies on the market. From these humble beginnings, Mingua Beef Jerky got its start.

Today, the Mingua Beef Jerky Company still prides itself on using its old-fashioned, all-natural recipes which offer outstanding products to customers across the nation. The recipes are a family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.

Our recipes and our quality ingredients, hand-cut from solid pieces of beef, are never chopped or formed like other brands, making our products superior and one of a kind. That would make our products similar to this week’s Protein-packed Performer, Aiden Jesse, ’26 WR/DB from Christian County High School in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.

Hopkinsville, KY: We wrote about this prospect prior other the ’24 season. That article is linked for you here, in case you missed it.

In the earlier article we forecast that “Young players will flourish in [Coach Atchley’s] schemes. Stars will emerge from places the casual fan will never expect.” We also advised you, “…be on the lookout for the development of young Aiden Jesse.”

So how did we do? Well the statistics, which only detail a nine (9) game frame of reference in spite of his having played in all 11 of the Colonels’ games, would suggest we hit our mark.

Jesse caught 49-passes for 690-yards and 4-TDs in the nine (9) games which got documented. He averaged 14.1-yards per reception and 77-yards a game for an offense which struggled to score points (155-points scored in 11-games) while being quite yielding on the defensive side of the ball (471-points allowed).

We like Jesse at safety, where he deployed for the Colonels in ’24. He has great height (6’3″) and length for days. Neither of those attributes are “coachable.” One either has it or one doesn’t.

Jesse was a multi-phase contributor. You don’t see that too often at the 6A level and versatility is an attribute we highly prize.

Friday Night Fletch

Looking at Jesse’s varsity basketball stats, one gleans he is a ferocious rebounder. This belies his being aggressive and vertically explosive. His vertical explosion often relates to speed and quick-twitchiness.

Keep your eye on this guy heading into the ’25 season. Focusing your down-field passing attack on targeting this guy would seem like a capital idea.

No charge for this assessment, Colonels. In the end, what do we know anyway?

Join us next week as we return to honor another weekly prize winner. Until then, pop some Mingua Beef Jerky in your mouth and savor the quality and flavor which sets it apart from the competition. Remember, our product is superior and one of a kind; just like Christian County’s Aiden Jesse.

This is Friday Night Fletch reporting for Kentucky Prep Gridiron and reminding you to PLAY THROUGH THE WHISTLE. Don’t forget to SAVOR THE FLAVOR!
