What in the world is going on in White House, Tennessee? Are the Patriots really 2-0 on the new season? Well, it would appear so and it would appear they are showing up in top-ten polls too.

That is crazy for a team which won only a single game in 2018. The Patriots have a huge game against the Springfield Yellow Jackets tonight in Springfield, Tennessee. Springfield is coming off a big win over Clarksville High School.

One of the largest reasons White House-Heritage is playing so well in 2019 is attributable to one of its smaller players. Parker Deaton, who is only 5-7 and weighs 150-pounds, is having himself quite a year.

Through two games, the Class of 2020 prospect has carried the football 18 times in two games. He has gained 311-yards, averaged 17.3 yards per carry, and has scored 4 rushing TDs.

For Springfield to be able to overcome a vastly improved White House Heritage ball club tonight they have to find something to do to contain Parker Deaton. If they are able to do it, they will be doing way better than either Middle Tennessee Christian or East Robertson were able to do.

Congratulations, to Parker Deaton of White House, Tennessee for being selected this week’s Stewart Williams Furniture Company’s Robertson County Player of the Week. Join us next week as we anoint a new recipient.

Reporting for KPGFootball, this is F.W. Long, reminding all of you ballers out there that #WeGotUCovered and to PLAY THROUGH THE WHISTLE.
