Haden Wise is a guy at Fort Campbell about whom we could publish an article a week. We call him “the little General” around our offices. Wise is a guy who has used this year at the Fort to firmly establish himself as a bone fide football star. He didn’t come into the year expecting to play QB necessarily but there is no denying he has played both RB and QB effectively and well when called upon to do so. Without Wise this season, we are confident in saying the Fort might be winless. We want to go back a week and feature a performance by Haden Wise where he not only gained over 200-yards rushing, scoring twice, but he also registered a pair of tackles, a sack, and an INT. Wise, week in and week out, has been among the offensive leaders for the Falcons football team lining up at QB, RB, WR or wherever else he has been needed. Wise’s multi-faceted, athletic tool belt makes him more, not less, recruitable to colleges around the commonwealth. Enjoy this feature.

We continue on with our offseason coverage not really discussing players of the week so much as discussing featured players and prospects. Cooper Adams is a kid with a ton of tough who played eight games of varsity run as a freshman and is only going to improve as he fills out and develops. Adams is an accomplished wrestler who was a Kentucky champion in middle school and already enjoying success as a varsity grappler on the high school level. Adams is the kind of kid coaches want to coach and, in the end, that may be the finest compliment which can be paid to him. Enjoy the feature.

We’ve learned a few things over the years from kids, or even grown men, named “Canady.” We have learned to expect a champion’s effort, performance, grit, and toughness. That is why it is no surprise Hayden Canady, like the Canady’s who have come along before, is a champion in multiple sports. Expect big things from this young ’24 prospect. HB.
