Recruiting is heating up for one of ’26’s more versatile and recruitable athletes. Gunn just got back from Centre College’s spring game and ring ceremony regarding its ’24 SAA title. Have the Colonels emerged from that event the clear leader? Is WashU, Georgetown, and Lindsey Wilson still firmly in the mix? What can we tell you about Connor Miles? We can tell you he got three (3) games of run as a sophomore on the varsity. We can tell you he is putting in the work this offseason. We can tell you his coach tells us he is ready to assume a roll on the ’25 roster as a regular and (perhaps) a leader. We can tell you he may be a two-way guy this coming Fall. All of the above aside, Miles finished 5th in Kentucky in powerlifting at one of the sport’s toughest classes (220-pounds). We feel that says a ton (pardon the pun). Enjoy this feature about a kid you might not have know about prior.

Centre College has been killing it on the recruiting trail. Never met an offensive lineman who much relished the obligation of having to block a player like Jake Jackson. Low center of gravity, incredible leg kick, power, explosion, off the charts strength, and Jack Jackson’s being ill-humored upon arriving to the football all make him a handful. Yessir, blocking Jake Jackson was such a pain in the rear no one elected to do it all season. Enjoy this feature on a guy who is definitely an All-State caliber defensive lineman. HB.
