There is no better time than the present to anoint another Independence Bank player of the week. Independence Bank is proud to sponsor a weekly article highlighting players in the areas where Independence Bank flourishes who embody the same type of revolutionary service to their respective football teams which has made Independence Bank unique and special in the banking industry.

Freedom Square

Today we honor ’22 DL, Jake Jackson, from Bowling Green, Kentucky’s South Warren High School. Jackson’s South Warren High  is very close to three Bowling Green branches. One of the branches, Freedom Square (pictured) is one of our very favorites and is located on 1950 Scottsville Road; another is on 2415 Nashville Road and the third is on the other is on 877 Fairview Avenue.

Get on by the Bowling Green Branches today and see our friends. Learn why Independence Bank‘s products, people, and services have started a revolution in the Kentucky banking industry.

Jack Jackson is one tough customer. Matter of fact, he may be, pound for pound, the most explosive and downright meanest players in the commonwealth. That is how someone 5-11 and weighing 240-pounds finds his way on the WKU football roster.

Jackson holds the school record power clean of 315-pounds. On defense this year, where he figures to play in college, the lightening quick, pad-leveraged, whirling dervish of disaster recorded 60-tackles, 25 TFLs, 12 QB-sacks, and forced a pair of fumbles inspite of drawing double and triple teams all season long.

Jackson was exactly for what the Hilltoppers were looking to play along its gap-scheme defensive front which relies on penetration and havoc to pester opposing offenses into mistakes and turnovers. He’s perfect for the job.

Jackson is built like and plays eerily similar to another former winner of this award, William Long, now playing college football at Centre College. If memory serves, Long was an undersized kid who was quite a beast tossing the old iron plates around a weight room just like Jackson.

We are certain the Toppers and its fans will love what Jackson is certain to bring to the table in future seasons. This guy has in insatiable motor as non-stop as his work ethic.

Congratulations to Jack Jackson for his Revolutionary Play which has earned him this week’s recognition from the fastest growing bank in the Commonwealth of Kentucky…your friends at Independence Bank.
