Brayden Tupper readying for take off in 2025 @TupperBray43875, @minguabeefjerky, @khsaafootball, @bigassfans, @Coach_CobyLewis, @CClakerfootball

Calloway County High is under new direction in 2025. Coby Lewis has been brought in from off the Tilghman staff to resurrect the Laker football program. Lewis helped the “Blue Tornado” to a 15-0 mark and a 4A title a year ago and will look to build off his former head coaching experience he had at Trigg County before joining Sean Thompson’s staff in Paducah. Lewis is the right man for this job and he will not find the cupboard barren. Brayden Tupper is a stout young guy who has considerable power and strength stacked on his frame now, especially in light of his being a rising junior. Guys who bench press 290, pull 535, and clean 255 generally play around these parts. Enjoy this article about a young gun who should be on the field plenty this coming season.

Slow Motion Replay: Well, that’s a Peach…Mark Peach proved his worth over his many years of service @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @minguabeefjerky, @bigassfans, @LC_Patriots, @TravAtwell

Mark Peach is a high school coach who has met with considerable success along his career path. We have Peach with around 166-wins against 97-losses. We have him winning his region four (4) times and appearing in the state championship game twice, once at Hancock County in 1A (1999) and a second time at Anderson County in 5A (2011). Peach’s teams enjoyed a pair of undefeated regular seasons over his tenure. In addition, Peach developed and promoted a player, in Travis Atwell, into the coveted “Mr. Football” award and an appearance in the 1A title game after turning in a 12-3 mark and losing to Beechwood for the title. Enjoy this feature about Mark Peach, a fine football coach.

Timmy Williams from Trigg County High ready to rebound from injury @TriggFootball, @CoachEzell45, @minguabeefjerky, @bigassfans, @eCampusdotcom, @KyHighFootball

Timmy Williams, a ’28 athlete and quarterback, came out of the middle school ranks among the more ballyhooed prospects the western Kentucky MS ranks could muster. Williams was off to a fast start when he got derailed by injury in the second week. If this guy can stay healthy, he could have a really solid sophomore campaign. So could the Trigg County Wildcats who have stepped down to 2A and will now face Mighty Mayfield on a yearly basis.

Kahmani Bush from Trigg County a versatile athlete looking to land- @Kahmanikhari @CoachEzell45 @TriggFootball @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @840WHAS @KyHighFootball @CentreFootball

Recruiting for the small college programs is far from over at this point. Because of that, we fear there are some programs overlooking some bone fide athletic talent through the commonwealth still on the “available” list. Kahmani Bush would certainly qualify. Here is a chance for a difference making late addition to any program’s recruiting list. You’ll thank me later. Friday Night Fletch.

Ahmari Alexander is an example of the fine ’26s we have around the commonwealth of Kentucky. This kid is 6′ tall and weighs a sturdily proportioned 210-pounds. He was enjoying quite a sophomore year before falling to injury. He will be heard from again we are willing to wager. Friday Night Fletch

’24 athlete thriving in new position We use the term “athlete” in recruiting to highlight players who have a skill set which lends them to positions they may not even play in high school. Jack Lambert, former Steeler and HOF, NFL linebacker, was a QB in high school, or so […]

Jhaden Vaughn from Trigg County High setting the pace at his position- @jhadenn4 @LintonTay @CoachEzell45 @AAppleby12 @Coach_Lea @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @HopkinsCentral @evans02_mike @_CoachManning @MaxPreps @PrepSpin

If you look at his season statistics from ’22, they are very strong but we have seen and even featured players with better. So, what makes him so elite in the eyes of college recruiters? Two words…frame and growth potential. College coaches are betting on what the player, with high level development, may one-day become. We know quite a few coaches, who know quite a bit about football, who are ALL very impressed with this prospects frame and growth potential. For right now, he’s still a premier receiver in Kentucky’s 3A classification. Enjoy the feature. FL.

Tay’Shaun Linton, ’24 DL from Trigg County HS, is the @minguabeefjerky Protein-packed Performer of the Week… @LintonTay @NatlPlaymkrsAca @LeverageLineman @CoachEzell45 @CoachFredT @1776Bank @KyHighFootball @PrepSpin @kyhighs @HLPreps @MaxPreps @coachburke89

Turning our attention squarely on 24’s, like most college programs are in the midst of doing, we focus on one of WK’s best at the DE/DL position. His secondary position is OG and his playing there collegiately is not completely out of the question. This guy led 3A in sacks and was in the top-15 commonwealth-wide regardless of classification. Enjoy this feature about this very fine junior and don’t forget to #Savortheflavor. FL
