If you don’t know what kind of football program they have going at Springfield High School, then you don’t know enough about high school football to read this magazine. Well, the mighty Yellow-Jackets will get it on tonight against its most hated, Cross-County rival, Greenbrier. Nate Kendrick is a guy who could figure prominently into the outcome on both the defensive and offensive sides of the football. He’s a 6-0, 249 pound defensive lineman principally who has been getting used as a lead blocker from out of the backfield with more frequency as the season as worn along. Nothing makes a program appear it has things rolling any better than an endless succession of quality front-line guys. Springfield High School certainly has its program rocketing. Coach Dustin Wilson will have the Jackets ready for action again in 2019 and we believe Tres Haley will be an integral part.
