We had another big week and so did these guys we have featured in this weekly series. This week we feature 27-current stars, one coach, and two teams among the performances “singled out.” We believe one of these guys is very likely to win the Mingua Beef Jerky Award this Wednesday. We know this…there isn’t a bad choice in this entire article. Enjoy this look at some of the very fine performances we saw this past Friday night. HB.

When people ask us what we cover during the offseason, as we are strictly a football magazine, we tell them there is lots of stuff to cover offseason. Sevens, Track & Field, baseball, Powerlifting, all of these sports have football players starring in them as well as on the gridiron. Today we are giving some beef jerky to a phenomenal talent but on the gridiron and in the weight room. Congratulations to Jalen Dunnaven from North Bullitt High School on his incredible feats accomplished at this past weekend’s Kentucky Push-Pull Powerlifting Championships. Join us next week as we reward and identify another incredible high school gridiron star. Enjoy the feature. HB.

These same teams played early in 2019 in Hyden, Kentucky. Clay County won that game by 17-points. Fans can’t act like high school teams are the same year in and year out. There is something called “graduation” which plays a big part in any high school team’s fortunes. Who will win this year’s game to be played the 11th in Manchester? Glad you asked, we broke down for you in this article? Enjoy! HB.

We are always looking for undiscovered talent. We search far and wide to deliver to our readers news of players who are often undiscovered and under-covered until we come along. Well we believe we have done it again with Chanse McKenzie. We believe McKenzie will have a monster year for the Commodores and solidify his hold over the QB position offensively as well as contribute more meaningfully to the defense at LB. Enjoy this article.

We here at KPGFootball have been effusive in our praise of high school strength & conditioning programs and the impact it can have on your football team’s play. Well, it would appear new coach Ovie Canady at Perry County Central High School in Hazard, Kentucky would agree. He is an […]
