This usually is a pretty fun article. A few days ago we posted the “KPGFootball Scorecard.” On that document we memorialized the matchup and just who we believed would win and why. What we do in the scorecard is give you the solution. What we don’t do is demonstrate how we worked the problem. Thursdays, during the football season, we often publish an article which “shows our math.” If you read this article you will see why we picked the teams we picked to win and why we picked the teams we picked to lose. You may not agree and that is okay. We are wrong between 5-15% of the time. It makes for fine reading and generous discussion. Enjoy the article.

In Middlesboro, the path to winning football involves some French @SportsOT @berea_football @Frenchie564 @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @HLpreps @MBORO_FOOTBALL @barstoolmboro

Larry French has built a contender in Middlesboro, Kentucky in the five years he’s been at the helm, going 54-14. The Yellow Jackets were 10-44 the five seasons before his arrival. Graduation riddled the roster somewhat; but, in the end, French is back and that has proven to offset plenty of roster defections over the years. Enjoy the article. Friday Night Fletch.

We have before featured No. 2, Caden Grigsby, and believe him to be among the more lethal dual-threat QB’s at his level of play. Well, QB’s need targets and Kameron Wilson is among the better WR’s in the 1A, 7th-District. He plays a little defense too. Enjoy this feature. FL.

Cayden Grigsby, from Middlesboro High, is the top signal caller in Kentucky’s Appalachia Mountains. @Cgrigs2 @teeroyhowell @KyPrepRedZone @nosterman2 @LippertScouting @CentreFootball @_CoachManning @HopkinsCentral @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @HLpreps @kyhighs

Cayden Grigsby is a player we have before featured. We believe he is a “Mr. Football” type player if things break the way they certainly could. You won’t find a better dual-threat QB anywhere in Kentucky’s ’24 graduating class. Enjoy the feature. FL.

This week, our Protein-packed Performer is a head football coach, Middlesboro High’s Larry French! @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @HLpreps @MBORO_FOOTBALL @barstoolmboro

We believe this is the first time we have awarded the Jerky Prize package to a head football coach. Well, it isn’t exactly everyday some head football coach celebrates his 350th win. There have only been two others in HS history in Kentucky to have had such a celebration, Phillip Haywood and Dudley Hilton. Enjoy this feature about a tremendous football coach who appears headed straight to the HOF. Don’t forget to pick up a few bags of our one-of-a-kind beef jerky products whenever you can and wherever you happen to find yourself. Also, don’t forget to #savortheflavor! HB.
