Hence is a guy who is hard to pigeon-hole. Yes, he can play some QB. Yes, he can play WR. Yes, he can play DB. Where should he play? I don’t know, where do you need him? This guy is what all high school rosters would love to have. Hence is a 6’2,” 180-pounder who can be plugged in anywhere. He was called upon to throw a few passes in ’24 and he completed 90% of his passing attempts (9/10). He caught 38-passes for nearly 500-yards and six (6) scores and was third on the team in scoring. We hear he is a “lock-down,” backend defender too. Enjoy this feature and let’s keep it comfortable out there, Kentucky!

Everyone across the commonwealth is eager to talk about Kade Goodin. What’s not to like? He is 6’3,” 190 pounds and threw for over 2,200-yards and 22-TDs a year ago while rushing for close to a thousand (861) and rushing for 13-TDs. Goodin isn’t the only prime time ’27 on Coach Lucas’s roster. Jason Hence is really coming on too. Find out in this feature what makes Jason Hence from Collins such a “cool customer.” Let’s keep it comfortable out there, Kentucky, and allow us to help you out in that regard.

Kade Goodin is a ’27 guy we have been following for years. You may wonder how that is even possible? If we just covered HS, it probably wouldn’t be but we get on these guys in middle school and often follow them to college. This guy is a future Saturday player at a minimum. He has plus size, length, and athleticism. He is a two sport varsity athlete, also playing point guard in basketball, which is the QB of a basketball team. He is a QB for Collins but is projected to play WR at the next level. Enjoy the feature and let’s keep it cool out there Kentucky.

Checking in with one of our ‘Mr. Football’ Candidates, Kenyon Goodin from Collins High. @KenyonGoodin @EKUFootball @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @1776Bank @HLpreps @kyhighs @KyHighFootball @MaxPreps

We adorned this cat a “Mr. Football” candidate way back over nine (9) months ago. Since that crowning, Goodin hasn’t done anything but make us look rather prophetic. We decided we would check in on him half way through his senior year just to see what he was doing. What he is doing is wowing his end of Kentucky. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Early Favorite for ’22 ‘Mr. Football’: How about @KenyonGoodin from @MLCTitanNation? @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @MaxPreps @KyHighFootball @MLCTitanCoach

A player from the eastern Kentucky area contacted the magazine through a staff member and assured KPGFootball he was coming for the ’22 “Mr. Football Award” and that we should get prepared for his run-up that ladder. We love the kid’s enthusiasm and confidence. That being said, we would think, at this point, Kenyon Goodin presently looks like he may be a hard man to beat for next year’s “Mr. Football,” assuming he puts forth the numbers on both sides of the football he did in ’21. Here is our take on it. Enjoy! HB.

Class of 2019’s Sicari Toole, Collins High School

June 21, 2018 Fletcher Long 0

The Titans from Martha Layne Collins High School had an extremely good year last year and benefited from one of the best seasons out of a quarterback any coach could ever hope to realize. In finishing 11-3 and narrowly losing to State Champion Franklin-Simpson 42-38 in Franklin, Kentucky, a fair […]
