Cade Scott has everything big-time programs covet among QBs. He is tall (6’5″), well put together (200-pounds), with plenty of bounce (varsity basketball star) and a versatile skill set athletically and intellectually (4.14 GPA). Scott, like so many other Kentuckians, is a football/basketball combo guy who several D-1s are noticing, including the three (3) who have already offered. They have a group of people named “Dotson” around Pike County, KY (Belfry). These boys can flat out ball. We got a note from legendary head football coach, Phillip Haywood, asked us to take a look at Max Boston, his senior offensive center. We like what we saw of this 6’2,” 310 pound blocking machine. He sort of reminded us of UK’s Drake Jackson. I remember him working out pretty well. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch.

Darion Dearinger, Class of 2021, Schools better hop on this train before it leaves the station…

August 7, 2019 Henry Lyon 0

This is a phenomenon we discussed with Darion’s father just yesterday. Why was EKU the first to evaluate Dearinger and then only offer after two bigger, more prestigious schools pulled the trigger. Do they believe FBS schools are better at evaluating prospects than the coaches they have hired? Don’t know, but FCS schools slow-walking obvious Division I, FBS-Level talent is a strategy which some coach at that level might want to explain to us sometime. We don’t see the benefit of arriving at the station after the train has departed.

It would appear Peyton Blackburn (@Pblackburn77) Class of 2020 Shelby Valley, has joined General Jackson’s “Stonewall Brigade.”

May 31, 2019 Henry Lyon 0

The “Stonewall Brigade” was an immovable object against an enemy onslaught. It resulted in brigadier general Barnard Bee making a remark regarding another brigadier general named Thomas Jackson which would forever define Jackson’s military legacy. What does that have to do with Shelby Valley’s Peyton Blackburn? Why don’t you read this article and find out?
