We have written about coaches before now but only in rare and special cases. We would submit to you that Chris Manning at Hopkins County Central is both rare and special and worthy of this feature in every imaginable way. Enjoy this look at a guy who is turning the apple cart upside down in a very positive way around the Hopkins County Central program. HB.

Last week of the regular season. Here are our picks…@KyHighFootball @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin

We have picked four games for you which we have done some checking with the respective coaches and believe are being played tonight. We are 55-12 on the year and wanted to pick 5-games to attempt to get our win-record to a cool 60 but, in this day and time, you take what you can get. Let’s see if we can run the table this last week of the regular season which has been anything but regular. HB.

@loftonhoward1 who plays for @GHSGatorFball is the @1776Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week…. @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball

September 25, 2020 Henry Lyon 0

This week’s “Revolutionary Player of the Week” is a top-flight, 2023 QB/FS prospect who really showed out this week on the defensive side of the football at his free safety deployment. Howard plays for Greenwood High School. This feature is brought to you weekly by the folks over at Independence Bank. Go on by and see our friends and thank them, not just for this series, but for the outstanding services and products which have started a revolution in the banking industry.

@RooDaKid25 (Anthony “Rooster” Woodard) stuffed the stat sheet on both sides for @LC_Cougars this past Friday night.

We first wrote about this prospect in an article entitled “Russellville Rolls when the Rooster Crows.” Yeah, we were really proud of the title. We thought it enormously clever. That article was published April 15, 2017. Here it is, 2020, coming up on 2021, and we are still writing about this same player; and yes, we are still calling him “Rooster Woodard.” He has rounded into the type prospect we believed he would be all along. Right again! Enjoy this article about a prospect we have been on for quite a while. HB.

How many times can lightening strike for Logan’s Tyler Ezell?

September 30, 2019 Henry Lyon 2

With apologies to DJ Khaled, it is Tyler Ezell who only wins (“All I do is win, win, win, no matter what…”). He has made a career of ruining the night of the opposing team and arresting victory from the clutches of defeat. He did it to Madisonville North-Hopkins this past Friday night. Can he do it to Hopkinsville this Thursday? If I were Hopkinsville, I wouldn’t want the ball in this kid’s hands with the game in question late. Enjoy the article.
