Is this team or that the best ever in Kentucky in its classification is heady and speculative talk. That aside, after the first four or so weeks of the season we have to wonder if LCA may not be the best 2A football team in Kentucky history? We believe the question is legitimate and fair. Here is our argumentative proof. HB.
If you have been reading our weekly “Outstanding Performances…” articles, the series of articles should have impressed upon you how very difficult winning this award really is. We had another spectacular week where there were numerous performances any one of which would have been a fine performance to single-out. This week, the high schools were off and the middle schoolers seized center stage. No one on that level of play thrust himself into a commonwealth-wide discussion any more forcefully than this week’s Protein-packed Performer. What do we mean by this? Well, read the article and see!
