The penultimate in high school football is gaining the inestimable privilege of getting to practice football on Thanksgiving. Well, there are 24 teams left who get this privilege and get to build this life-long memory. Half of the remaining will run out onto Kroger Field and play for a championship. Which 12 will it be? We attempt to answer that for you right here. Friday Night Fletch

Who’s the best freshman skill in the commonwealth? What about @MonticeQuisenb2 from @GarrardGCHS! @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

His name is Montavin Quisenberry and around KPGFootball he is just called “Q.” We believe he may be the best freshman football player in all of Kentucky particularly among the skills. This is a fine freshman class too as many are making incredible contributions to the ball club right now. Enjoy this look at the pride of Garrard County. HB.

We have been featuring some ’25’s we call “No Doubters” around the magazine. A “No Doubter” is a kid sure to get plenty of PT as a frosh on Friday night and a kid we know we will be featuring plenty over the course of the kid’s high school football career. This kid here is one of those. Why? This article should tell you. Enjoy the feature. HB.

As we say farewell to another group of ballers we have covered since they played in middle school, we get to meet and update our database with an entire new class of up-and-coming stars who will play their freshman seasons this coming Fall. Many of these guys will start on Friday Night sometime during their initial campaigns. Some of these guys will start night one, snap one and we aren’t talking about on specials either. Today, we are highlighting a kid we call around the magazine a “No-doubter.” Why? Well, you may have to just read this article and find out. HB.

If you have been reading our weekly “Outstanding Performances…” articles, the series of articles should have impressed upon you how very difficult winning this award really is. We had another spectacular week where there were numerous performances any one of which would have been a fine performance to single-out. This week, the high schools were off and the middle schoolers seized center stage. No one on that level of play thrust himself into a commonwealth-wide discussion any more forcefully than this week’s Protein-packed Performer. What do we mean by this? Well, read the article and see! Enjoy the article and join us next week as we honor another worthy recipient. HB.
