Isaiah Fitzpatrick is among the best RBs in Kentucky ’22 class. There are high school programs in Kentucky where he would be a D-1 guy. We still think he is a D-1 guy and some team below D-1 is going to wind up with a All-conference/All-American type at its level of play. Lucky them. Enjoy the feature. HB.
We saw numerous programs clean up yesterday on national signing day. We saw some Kentucky programs lure some incredible out of state hauls, and we even saw some programs from neighboring states dip their fishing lures into Kentucky waters and come away with some big time talent. Enjoy the article.
We have been featuring the players who are jumping on in-state schools early as opposed to “waiting and seeing” whether there is room in the Inn for them at the D-1 level. No team gets them all. The Coaches’ All-State Football team was just announced and it was a fine one with every player we saw deserving of selection. Still, we feel they undervalued some of the players and missed on some others. So here are our “friendly amendments and additiions” to the Coaches’ team. The media team will be out before you know it and I am pretty sure we will screw the pooch in the eye of many when it is our time to draw the fire. HB.
Someone contacted old Coach Lyon and asked when we were going to put out our preseason top-10 football polls for each classification. Well, the day we were called seemed like as good a day as any to continue that tradition. Since KPGFootball started with the top classification when picking district winners, this time we started with Class 1A, then 2A, then 3A, then 4A, and yesterday we projected Class 5A. Today we give you our projections for the largest Kentucky classification, Kentucky Class 6A. We have now completed this series and hope this has peaked your interest in something we love around here with all our hearts…Kentucky High School football. Have a great season, everyone of you. We can’t wait to both watch and report on it.
