Xavier Maddox looks ready for take-off in our opinion @Xavier_maddox1 @jackball2023 @JakLindsey24 @RedDevilDen @minguabeefjerky @HopkinsCentral @_CoachManning @1776Bank @evans02_mike @PrepSpin

We don’t all bloom at the same time. Some kids blossom later than others. Xavier Maddox is an example of this principle. He is 5’10,” now but has extremely long appendages, a long neck, is high waisted, and narrow at the shoulder. Translation…this is a kid very likely to be quite tall before it is said and done. Enjoy the feature. FL.

Well, it is time to start another social media war about whom we did or didn’t select for our KPGFootball All-State Offense. Like we have before said, many times, you never get them all and you will always leave off any all-state team players who were undoubtedly “All-Sate Caliber.”

The Preseason Top-5 in the 5A-Classification. Some stalwarts and a surprise await you! @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @1776Bank

We have been projecting the top-5 team, preseason, in each of Kentucky’s six-classifications. We have been bold in some of our predictions, picking some wild cards we aren’t sure everyone would pick. Here is how we see Class 5A fleshing out. If we didn’t pick your team and you see a district opponent listed among our top-5, that means we don’t think you see round three. Let the water-cooler debates commence. HB.

@JakLindsey24 from @SrHighFootball is the @1776Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week. @Minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball

January 29, 2021 Henry Lyon 1

This guy last won this award in middle school. He was heading to play in a middle school All-American football game at the time. We thought he would be a high school All-American too, even then. Not even we thought it would be as quickly as it has occurred. Congratulations to this week’s Revolutionary Player of the Week and join us again next week as we award this to another worthy recipient.

Here is something right amazing, almost exactly a year ago, December 29, 2019 to be exact, we featured then 8th-grade All American Jak Lindsey from Owensboro MIddle School. Well, a lot has happed since last year, like his starting in the 5A championship game for Owensboro High School as only a 9th-grader (man, we called this one) but he is still a super-star player, nonetheless. Enjoy the article. HB.

Kentucky’s 2024’s most likely to hit a varsity lineup the quickest (featured photo: Brendon Miller, Bluegrass Sports Nation)…

We thought it would be fun to forecast which ten MS players were likely to hit the field first in 2020 on Friday night. We have also included some innuendo we have heard about where some of these guys may end up this Fall. It’s conjecture as we really don’t know anything but we hear rumors and this site is protected and only for the benefit of subscribers so, hey, that’s for what we are paid the big money. Enjoy the article which is the first of a two-parter. HB.

The 2019 KPGFootball, Middle-School, All-State Offense…

December 31, 2019 Henry Lyon 0

It is one of the most controversial things we do all year. It is the publishing of the MS All-State Team. Today, we are publishing the Offense and will publish the Defense tomorrow. This team was selected from the nominations of our subscribers. Hey, membership has certain privileges, don’t know what to tell you. HB.

Class of 2024’s Jak Lindsey of Owensboro Middle School is the Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week

December 28, 2019 Henry Lyon 2

This week we award our prestigious Revolutionary Player of the Week to an eighth grader presently in Dallas, TX to play for the East All-American squad in the Bret Cooper Junior Academic All-American football game. Inclusion on either the East or West rosters is a tremendous honor for a middle school player and we believe this article will disclose why this week’s recipient is hardly just any middle school football player. Enjoy the article and congratulations to Owensboro Middle School’s Jak Lindsey.
