The Colonels limped through the non-conference slate emerging 0-2. They drew a tough assignment in having to travel to Memphis and battle a 2-0 Rhodes team riding a 3-0 win streak to include beating Birmingham Southern 20-3 back in November of 2022. Well, yesterday against Tinity began promisingly but we were sort of in like a lion and out like a lamb. Still, one could see that there is a very thin line from where Centre is as a program and where it is going. We need to eliminate mistakes and take better car of the football, but should we, one can easily see conference championships and NCAA runs in the program’s future.
Jack Gohmann may be among Kentucky’s more forgotten star QBs. It sure was a crowded position among ’22 players across the Bluegrass. However, when you crunch the numbers, one sees Grohmann stacks up to any other player who played the position. Enjoy the feature. HB.
