Looking back a few years, here was our very first Freshman All-State Football team. It really is scary how very accurate we were. Four years later, many of these guys are still the “big dogs” around the KHSAA at their respective positions. To make this team, you had to produce on Friday nights. We didn’t evaluate freshman or JV highlights then. Still don’t now. HB.
We take voting in the AP poll very seriously. We are proud to be a subscribed member of the foremost press agency in the land and feel our votes should be cast thoughtfully and only after having done the work. This is how we cast our vote for the poll which will be released the 14th of September. We also included some reasons for why certain teams were voted where they were. This guy has represented Kentucky in the Future Stars game and, coming out of middle school, is widely regarded one of the best football players in Kentucky’s 2023 class of prospects. What will he do under the shine of the lights on Friday Night? Well, that is anyone’s guess. We believe he will be an early contributor for the Panthers coming off a 10-4 season in 2018 and a birth in the Class 4A semi-finals. Enjoy this article.
We couldn’t get to every Kentucky performance and there were more outstanding performances from Kentucky athletes than we could possibly record. However, these performances were extraordinary and were worthy of mention on what was a find day for Kentucky prospects demonstrating they should be recruited as hard as any other state represented.
