It was a tough night for the Storm in Marion, Kentucky. Still, the boys are getting better and there were plenty of opportunities to escape with a victory. Here is your recap. FL.

We love what this ’24 FB/LB brings to both sides of the scrimmage line at Hopkins County Central. We are in the midst of the dumbest 2-week period in high school football. Yes, we are derisively discussing “Dead Period.” However, in a matter of days we will come out the other side of this haze and it will be football season in near full throat! Everyone is aware of the recruiting profiles of both Calil McNary and Logan Rogers. They are on everyone’s board, particularly in the area. Maybe some are unaware of two Storm players whose stock is ever-rising. James Posey and Harlee Egbert are bring college coaches to town now. The first recruiter to hit Morton Gap and leave impressed with them (we hear) is Centre’s Nate Simmons. Enjoy the feature. FL.
McNary is Kentucky’s consummate FB. He is the best player, Kentucky-wide, at a position under utilized in the modern game. He is a throw-back to a simpler, tougher time and he keeps the “Air Raid” attack grounded. Enjoy the feature. FL.
When you look at The Storm’s defensive numbers from ’22 something jumps off the page at the inquisitor. How in the world did a guy who only registered seven (7) games of fun lead the team in such critical statistical categories as TFL’s, QB-sacks, and FF’s (forced fumbles)?
