Lexington Christian Academy (LCA) is tracking that title this year in 2A and the Eagles have all the flight power needed to walk off Kroger Field very, very happy. The strength of the team isn’t subsumed in its passing attack. LCA has (perhaps) the best rushing attack in Kentucky’s high school game. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch
How does one top a 400-yards rushing night? We shall see if Hensley can do it this coming Friday night in “Title Town,” Kentucky (Danville) when they play the Rebels in the Rebel Bowl. For now, let’s all marvel in a spectacular performance from a spectacular young player. FL.
Mason Gardner is 6A’s King of the End Zone. At least, that is what the statistics from ’22 tells us. This is a kid who put 172-points on the scoreboard in 12-games or 14.3-points per outing. Central Hardin narrowly lost its Regional Championship game to the team which eventually won it all. To say folks in Hardin County are excited to see what Gardner and crew will do in ’23 may be a bit of an understatement. Hagan Harrison was rumored injured. However, he looks “full go” to us the preseason. This is why we generally don’t report on injuries. Either way, the Indians appear loaded headed into the ’22 season and good knows they are well coached (Mike Holcomb). Enjoy this look at a guy who certainly comes off the bus terrifically. HB.

Brady Hensley may be the best RB in all of Kentucky Football. He certainly is toward the top of the ’24 class. What he did last year as a sophomore will pale in comparison with what we expect from him this coming season. Enjoy the feature. HB.
