In all of the excitement this year surrounding Boyle County’s thirty some-odd straight game winning streak, the Franklin Flyers being 10-0, and the Blue Tornado of Paducah finishing 10-0 and blowing out pretty much ever team it has played, we have sort of overlooked how good of a football team Ashland Blazer is. We have sone advice for 4A, best not overlook these guys going forward. You have been warned.

Kade Goodin is a ’27 guy we have been following for years. You may wonder how that is even possible? If we just covered HS, it probably wouldn’t be but we get on these guys in middle school and often follow them to college. This guy is a future Saturday player at a minimum. He has plus size, length, and athleticism. He is a two sport varsity athlete, also playing point guard in basketball, which is the QB of a basketball team. He is a QB for Collins but is projected to play WR at the next level. Enjoy the feature and let’s keep it cool out there Kentucky.

What an upset this past weekend, as Kentucky Country Day over Campbellsville denied me my first perfect weekend. Oh well, 14-1; I’ll take it. Parker Rudolph had quite the night and, not only was it statistically impressive, it came against the best team in the classification. Look out for KCD, they are alway quite good but this bunch may be special.

Luke Pennington, a Dayton commit, has been keeping it pretty cool out there under the “Friday Night Lights.” Matter of fact, our Kentucky Comfort Creator has thrown 82-TDs the last two seasons without a single INT.
