Speaking of a player making a home, Keith Jones appears to have made a home both at running back and in the defensive, back four, at corner. The 5-8, 154 pound 2019 prospect is entering his senior year with his team coming off a State Finals appearance the previous year. Expectations are still high for the Yellow Jackets as the only preseason poll which has come out as of the date of this article’s being published, the one composed by Tennessee football guru Murphy Fair, has the Jackets slotted 10th in its classification state-wide. If the Jackets are going to perform that well, they will need a lot more of what they got form Jones last year prior to his succumbing to injury.  Last year Jones gained 997 yards from scrimmage and 13 rushing TDs in limited duty. Imagine what he will do if he actually participates in all of the Jackets’ games this upcoming season. Scary thought.
