There is no better time than the present to anoint another Independence Bank player of the week. Independence Bank is proud to sponsor a weekly article highlighting players in the areas where Independence Bank flourishes who embody the same type of revolutionary service to their respective football teams which has made Independence Bank unique and special in the banking industry. Independence Bank has a goal of achieving everyday excellence, and this week we are focusing on a player whose performance exceeded both the Eagles’s and both the Paducah and Hopkinsville community’s expectations. We are focusing on the 5-7, 156 pound, class of 2023, MLB, Oscar JT Adams.
JT Adams played last season at McCracken County Middle School in Paducah, Kentucky but will play this upcoming season at Christian County Middle School. We try to feature players who thrive in communities where Independence Bank also flourishes, and there isn’t an Independence Bank in Hopkinsville, yet, but what JT did yesterday as a member of Team Kentucky in its first-time victory over Tennessee in the 7th grade Future Stars’ Classic was too monumental to not warrant such recognition from the Commonwealth’s fastest growing financial institution. Yesterday, Adams led the Kentucky defense with 15 tackles and was a disruptive force in the middle of the Kentucky defense as well as being a key cog in the final stop in overtime to preserve the 31-28 margin and, thus, insure the victory. In all the time we at KPGFootball have covered the Kentucky Future Stars, it was as fine of play over the course of an entire game as we have ever seen from a 7th grader.
Congratulations to JT Adams for his Revolutionary Play which has earned him this week’s recognition from the fastest growing bank in the Commonwealth of Kentucky…your friends at Independence Bank.
