We probably don’t recognize kickers and punters as much as the positions deserve. We have heard it said special team’s is a third of the game of football, but people like Robert R. Neyland attached even more significance to it than that. One thing is certain, nothing gets a team beat any faster than bad special teams’ play. Michael Lobdell is one of the best around and a real weapon for the Indians which is why he is this week’s Meeks & Meeks Montgomery County Player of the Week. The Dragons appear poised to return to one of the premier programs in Class 4A. They won’t be the 2018 Dragons when they hit the field in 2019. That’s a guarantee.

We couldn’t get to every Kentucky performance and there were more outstanding performances from Kentucky athletes than we could possibly record. However, these performances were extraordinary and were worthy of mention on what was a find day for Kentucky prospects demonstrating they should be recruited as hard as any other state represented.
