As we are doing with the Middle School All-State football team. KPGFootball, which compiles the only freshman and sophomore All-State football teams in Kentucky, are busy doing the “compiling.” If you are a subscriber and want to nominate for either the freshman or the sophomore teams, go down below to “Comments” and make your nominations.

Valid nominations will include the player’s name, height, weight, class, school, important varsity statistics compiled in 2019 which the nominator believes supports the player’s being included on the All-State team, any lifting or speed numbers which make the player stand out to the person doing the nominating. The magazine’s staff has nominated players already and we have a really good start but we want to hear from our subscribers on this just like the middle school team.

Nominations will close January 15, 2020. We will compile the team and publish it shortly thereafter. The team will be protected content unless a corporate sponsor picks it up and wishes to underwrite its being broadly distributed as was done in both 2017 and 2018. Good luck to everyone.

    • I nominate Tyler Morris ATH/DE/OLB 2022 Lexington Christian Academy. 6’ 185 (4.0 GPA) (4.58/40) (4.19 Pro Agility) (6.94 L Drill) (37” vert) (10’ broad) (255 BP / 340 SQ / 380 DL) Tyler anchored a relentless defensive line pass rush that lived in the backfield all season long. Although Tyler missed 3.5 games due to a nagging hip flexor injury. Tyler recorded 9 sacks (unofficially) 4 of which were key strip sacks that resulted in change of possessions. Tyler made a living carving up offensive lineman and pressuring QB’s despite playing a 4i at 185#. His ability often resulted in a lot of double team schemes which created 1 on 1 situations for his teammates. Tyler is a student of the game and is already preparing for the 2020 season. Thank you for considering Tyler.
