It is one of the most controversial things we do all year. It is the publishing of the MS All-State Team. Today, we are publishing the Offense and will publish the Defense tomorrow. This team was selected from the nominations of our subscribers. Hey, membership has certain privileges, don’t know what to tell you. HB.

Class of 2024’s Jak Lindsey of Owensboro Middle School is the Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week

December 28, 2019 Henry Lyon 2

This week we award our prestigious Revolutionary Player of the Week to an eighth grader presently in Dallas, TX to play for the East All-American squad in the Bret Cooper Junior Academic All-American football game. Inclusion on either the East or West rosters is a tremendous honor for a middle school player and we believe this article will disclose why this week’s recipient is hardly just any middle school football player. Enjoy the article and congratulations to Owensboro Middle School’s Jak Lindsey.

Our opinion of the Coaches’ All-State Football team? We offer the following friendly amendments!

December 20, 2019 Henry Lyon 0

No team gets them all. The Coaches’ All-State Football team was just announced and it was a fine one with every player we saw deserving of selection. Still, we feel they undervalued some of the players and missed on some others. So here are our “friendly amendments and additiions” to the Coaches’ team. The media team will be out before you know it and I am pretty sure we will screw the pooch in the eye of many when it is our time to draw the fire. HB.

Logan’s Zach Yates (2021), and Trigg’s Cade Bleidt (2020) are FOOTBALL PLAYERS!

December 16, 2019 Henry Lyon 0

Here are two guys just darn good at playing football. They are the football player’s version of a football player. Many of you won’t know how exactly to define that term but you recognize it when seeing it. Football teams need players like these two and players like Bleidt and Yates will always be there to be our “Friday Night Heroes.” God bless both them and the gritty, do-what-it-takes kids who are just like them.
