’26 RB/LB is a force with whom to reckon on either side of the ball
Keshawn Dixon is among the better players, particularly two-way players in the KHSAA. Last season, the ’27 RB/LB rushed for nearly a thousand yards while leading the team in tackles (172) and TFLs (23). Those are not just categories in which he was the club leader but what we often refer to as “key statistical categories.” Dixon threw in a pair of INTs just to prove he was good against the run and pass as a second level defender. What is Dixon likely to do this, his senior season? That is the 64-dollar question, if you will. Enjoy this feature about a star who is among the players leading this once, championship level program back to its former glory.

Christian County (Oak Grove/Fort Campbell), KY: Fort Campbell High School is in the midst of a rebuild. We believe the Falcons are on the right track and will be improved over the unit which took the field in ’24 and acquitted itself pretty well considering (5-5).
One reason for our optimism is the scintillating play of returning dual-threat QB Jacaryous Perryman. We are also excited about another star in that offensive backfield, as well as a defensive stalwart, Keshawn Dixon.
Dixon is a weight room Hoss. Dixon reps the high school bench press weight of 185-pounds, 23-times, bench presses 355, squats 500-pounds, and pulls (deadlifts) 495. Dixon clocks 40-yard dashes in the 4.4s and has been laser times at 100-meters in 11-seconds flat. For 5’9,” 180-pounds that is all some pretty athletic stuff right there. Dixon also sports a 3.8-GPA so that number gets him signed pretty much anywhere he wants to go.
In addition to his prowess tossing around plates, in the classroom, and running around a track; Dixon is so many other things. One of those is our Lasaters Coffee & Tea, Wake Up and Smell the Coffee Player of the Week.
Dixon benches 355, squats 500, pulls 495, clips off 40s in the 4.4s, and has a 3.8-GPA; what more could any college football program want?
Friday Night Fletch

Last season, in ’24, Dixon was all over the field for his Falcons. On offense, Dixon gained close to a thousand yards rushing (948), scored 12-TDs on the ground, scored a TD receiving, and led the team in scoring. That was a mouthful if that was all he did. It wasn’t.
Dixon played a little defense too. On defense, Dixon led the team in tackles (172), had 23-TFLs, a sack, a FF, a FR, and picked a pair (2-INTs) of passes. That is quite a bit of production. With his contributions on coverage and return units, this was a three-phase kid, the type kid who should be prominently on the minds of voters come “All-State Team” season.
Dixon is through developing physically in all likelihood. That is the semi-bad news. The good news is he’s a grown man already and well suited for where he is likely to play collegiately.
We have talked with an assistant who recruits the area for a local college program. This recruiter preferred to stay anonymous. He has evaluated Dixon for his school and this is what he told KPGFootball.
“We love this guy’s strength, speed, twitch, and power obviously. His grades make him an easy take and a ‘sure to get in, pretty much anywhere’ prospect. Getting past admissions, and through the [NCAA] clearinghouse with ease, is important to any school, at any level.”
The coach continued, “We like him at strong safety/Rover with his power and speed. He lacks some length but has plenty of vertical explosion which may shore up any perceived, anatomical deficiency. This kid is a player and we believe his college future is on the defensive side. We see him as a service academy take, an Ivy-Leaguer, or even a Near-Ivy candidate. Either way, he is a next level kid.”

That being said we felt it was high time for people around Christian County, KY (Oak Grove/Fort Campbell) to take notice of this outstanding performer and outstanding young man. As far as Keshawn Dixon is concerned; it’s time to wake up and smell the coffee!
In an effort to help this prospect’s continued development, Keshawn Dixon may go, this Friday (August 15, 2025), to any of our area locations and be served a free drink of his choice and free breakfast or other sandwich/food item on us!
