We here at Kentucky Prep Gridiron have consistently covered Clarksville, Tennessee talent as part of our area largely because we are principally based in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. You may not know this but Hopkinsville and Clarksville comprise one metropolitan area in spite of one city being in Kentucky and the second laying just across the Tennessee state line. Well, we are proud to have partnered with the law firm of Meeks & Meeks, Attorneys to feature a weekly article promoting a Clarksville area prep football player. Meeks & Meeks, Attorneys is a full service law firm covering all areas within the realm of general practice from domestic to criminal defense, contracts to malpractice, Will & Estates to civil and criminal matters in General Sessions. If you have a problem, they have a solution. If you feel like you’re drowning, they are the life raft. Call them at 931.645.3888 or just drop by 137 Franklin Street in Clarksville, Tennessee 37040. This week’s recipient is a prospect who abilities we have been extolling for quite some time. He is a member of the Class of 2021 who earned a Varsity letter this year playing for, historically, the best football program in the State of Tennessee’s 5th largest city. This week we feature Kamari Williams.

Kamari is a 9th grader who has logged time at both RB and Strong Safety for Northeast High School. We have before said about Kamari, in a feature we wrote about him in April of 2017, that we see him on the defensive side of the ball as a safety. Kamari has really long arms, is high waisted, and has the frame which appears he hasn’t even come close to reaching his vertical stopping point.  Like LaVell Wright from Elizabethtown, Kentucky, whom we have also before featured, we think Kamari is a perfect candidate for protecting the Defense’s back four from vertical attack. Kamari is rangy in the mold of 2018, 6’4″ Safety from Christian County High School Cory Trice and his length is one of his most pronounced assets.

Kamari is a former Tennessee Future Star who played Safety for Team Tennessee and performed at that position very well. Kentucky Prep Gridiron expects big things from Kamari going forward and can easily see Kamari growing into either a slot receiver or TE as he continues to mature and fill out his frame. We also believe he will continue to play defense at either Free or Strong Safety with his ability to flip his hips and cover vertically coupled with his having both the length and speed to close out on receivers as he comes out of his break.

We are very proud to award to Kamari Williams this week’s award as the Meeks & Meeks, Attorneys, Montgomery County Player of the Week and continue to look forward to our partnership with Meeks & Meeks, Attorneys as we both continue to publicize and promote all of the fine young football players in Clarksville, Tennessee. Congratulations to Kamari Williams from Clarksville Northeast High School for being our Meeks & Meeks, Attorneys, Montgomery County Player of the Week!
