This isn’t the first time we have rewarded the Fat Cat for his extraordinary play. Franklin the 5-9, 175 pound, Class of 2019 prospect is so dynamic, explosive, and gifted that QB, Bryan Hayes, and he could just alternate being Players of the Week award recipients throughout the year. Johnson put his 4.47 second, 40 yard dash speed to good use Friday night against traditional power Jackson Northside. Dayron Fat Cat Johnson tallied 14 receptions Friday night for 211 receiving yards. In addition to the inordinate amount of receptions and the noteworthy amount of receiving yards, he found pay dirt a couple times too in helping lead the Yellow Jackets to a 41-34 win in Jackson, Tennessee. The Yellow Jackets take an 11-2 record to Brownsville, Tennessee to play Haywood in a rematch of last year’s Semi-final, which the Jackets won 35-28. The Tomcats will enter the game with Springfield 9-4, coming off a 47-14 spanking of Dyersburg. Dyersburg had entered the game with Haywood, 12-0 on the year, before losing last night.
