Anyone hoping to get past Bracken County and the Polar Bears would do well to avoid the Tarter Sauce- @TarterDaulton @brackencounty @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @HLpreps @MaxPreps @evans02_Mike @840WHAS @sfitz_840whas

We love to come up with something clever in the title. Daulton Tarter’s name lends itself to “Tartar Sauce” references easily and we decided to go with that. I wanted to make a “Steak Tartare” reference but Coach Lyon pointed out the spellings were significantly different. Coach Lyon really enrages me some days. Enjoy this feature. Friday Night Fletch

Storm Warning/Weather Report: While officially out of the playoff race; still plenty about ’24 to remember, relish- @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @MaxPreps @minguabeefjerky @HopkinsCentral @840WHAS @DylanMorris2025 @minguabeefjerky @HopkinsCentral @evans02_mike @sfitz_840whas

I will always remember 2024 and the season which provided fans plenty of suspense and thrills. It will always stand out to me of the “season which could have been.” Enjoy this look back at the year and look forward to stomping the ever-loving, gob-sobbing, crap out of Fulton County tomorrow night. Trigg County has a hoss middle school team led by a hoss. You may not remember Coach Taylor McGee but he was an All-State player for Trigg County High, broke the Kentucky Powerlifting Meet bench press record (at the time) competing in the sport’s Heavyweight Division (435-pound bench), played in college at KENTUCKY WESLEYAN, and is now coaching the Middle School Wildcats where he has enjoyed unparalleled success at the helm. Enjoy this feature about a team certainly one of the more talented competing at the middle school level anywhere across the commonwealth. Friday Nigh Fletch

Brady Hensley and LCA tracking that title- @Oakley_Watkins @CoachDCharles @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @HLpreps @MaxPreps @HopkinsCentral @evans02_Mike @840WHAS @sfitz_840whas

Lexington Christian Academy (LCA) is tracking that title this year in 2A and the Eagles have all the flight power needed to walk off Kroger Field very, very happy. The strength of the team isn’t subsumed in its passing attack. LCA has (perhaps) the best rushing attack in Kentucky’s high school game. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch

Ballard Smokes Eastern, Hopes for Strong Finish in Versailles- @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @HLpreps @MaxPreps @HopkinsCentral @evans02_Mike @840WHAS @sfitz_840whas @Ballard_Bruins

Ballard certainly knows something about developing top-flight talent at DE. Remember Jadairion Smith? We sure do. Ballard is now 6-3 with Woodford County remaining and Mikel Clack is the new “Jadairion Smith.” Clack leads the commonwealth in sacks and has a long frame, albeit slight, but he can really move. Ballard is staring down the barrel of a 7-3 finish, and with the 7th-highest RPI in the class, the 6A, 5th district Bruins hope to host to host an opening game. Friday Night Fletch

Bryce Button from South Warren High is the @1776Bank, Revolutionary Player of the Week- @ButtonBryce @SouthWarrenFB @SouthWarrenHigh @minguabeefjerky @HopkinsCentral @evans02_mike @_CoachManning @KyHighFootball @MaxPreps @sfitz_840whas

Bryce Button, a ’25 QB at South Warren in Bowling Green, KY, over the first seven (7) games of this ’23 season has been the very picture of Swiss-made precision. Last week he completed close to 80% of his passing attempts and threw for four (4) TD’s against 0-picks. Regardless of college potential, and he has his fair share, this kid is a dynamite high school football player. Enjoy the feature and celebrate with us the services, people, and financial products which have caused a revolution in Kentucky’s banking industry. FL.

‘McNary on the Carry’ is the @minguabeefjerky Protein-packed Performer of the Week- @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @HLpreps @MaxPreps @HopkinsCentral @evans02_Mike @840WHAS @sfitz_840whas

Every time Calil McNary gets a hand-off, the PA says, “McNary on the Carry.” Now, that is branding. Every time we see Central’s 6’2,” 240-pound FB we think, “McNary on the Carry.” When you see him around Hopkins County, try it! He broke several career marks in his fine career last Friday against Trigg County. His night against Trigg alone was jerky-worthy. Throw in the career marks, and it really isn’t close. Enjoy this feature and join us again next week when we recognize another outstanding athlete. Till then, pop some of Kentucky’s finest jerky products in your mouth and savor the flavor! #SavorTheFlavor! FL

Coach Yeast and Mercer County are definitely on the rise – @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @minguabeefjerky @HopkinsCentral @evans02_mike @840WHAS @sfitz_840whas @HopkinsCentral @mercer_football

Today we are looking at a program which has snuck up on some people after a 5-6 ’22 season. Mercer will have many pieces back next year, particularly on defense, but the McKinney, season ending injury in the game with Southwestern was heart-breaking. Still, Mercer has an opportunity to finish very strong and go into the playoffs 9-1. Enjoy the feature. “Friday Night Fletch”

Russ Osborne leads his Shelby Valley Wildcats to victory and has the athleticism to play on either side or the football at the next level. We don’t know where that level will be but we know there will be a next level for this guy. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch
