It has been hailed as the most thorough and comprehensive all-state football team in Kentucky history. Big Ass Fans and its selection committee honored 152-players, Kentucky wide, from each of its six (6) classifications. People on this team attend 81 of Kentucky 220-some odd high schools across the commonwealth. Two member of the Central Storm made the squad. We’re here to tell you about them.

We couldn’t get a tougher draw in the first round than a Hart County squad which has proven itself an elite team, winning 23 of 24-football games, over the past two seasons. Chad Griffin is among the hottest coaches in Kentucky and on everyone’s hot board for every job which comes open. We think the Storm will acquit itself on Friday night in Munfordville better than most expect. In the end, the Storm should be loose. No one outside the team’s locker room will be picking them.

This Friday night the Pilots will guide its ship into an unfriendly port. Morton’s Gap will host this ball game which will be pivotal regarding how the Storm enters the upcoming playoffs. Central finds itself exactly where it was a year ago. However, this time just feels differently. The Storm pushed McLean to overtime before bowing out gracefully, 48-46, and Fort Campbell’s beating North has taught us all a little something about never quitting before the combatants even take the field. We like Central to win this game and set its ’24 record at 3-5 heading into the final two. Enjoy the feature.

We don’t even know what to say about the Storm after its impressive “beat down” of Webster County, 29-0. Manning made some changes to the deployment of personnel both on offense and defense to put kids in better positions to succeed and succeed they did. Tonight, the Storm will travel to Dixon, KY to take on an always tough, McLean County team. How do the Storm finish the final four of the regular season? Seems like we have been here before.

Cash Harney is probably the most dangerous backfield threat in Northern Kentucky. The Beechwood transfer has settled into his new home and has knotted the Colonel’s record at two’s. Beechwood comes to town this Friday Night. If Cash Harney continues to be Cash Money, like he’s been, the Tigers may find the Colonels have sprung a trap. Enjoy the feature.
