The Class of the Commonwealth was released by the Lexington Herald-Leader. Many of the seniors heralded were “mountain kids.” We broke down the “mountain kids” for you in this article and talked a little more in depth about each one. No team gets them all. The Coaches’ All-State Football team was just announced and it was a fine one with every player we saw deserving of selection. Still, we feel they undervalued some of the players and missed on some others. So here are our “friendly amendments and additiions” to the Coaches’ team. The media team will be out before you know it and I am pretty sure we will screw the pooch in the eye of many when it is our time to draw the fire. HB.
Here are two guys just darn good at playing football. They are the football player’s version of a football player. Many of you won’t know how exactly to define that term but you recognize it when seeing it. Football teams need players like these two and players like Bleidt and Yates will always be there to be our “Friday Night Heroes.” God bless both them and the gritty, do-what-it-takes kids who are just like them. Hey, when two of the best football players in Kentucky’s 2024 class lock-horns, KPGFootball is going to be there. The result of the confrontation was gloriously played football played between two very fine football teams.
We have heard thunder only happens when it is raining. We have also heard where there is thunder there is also lightening. Well, opponents of Caudill Middle School have been experiencing some terrible weather over the past three seasons. Here are two linebacker prospects in the Class of 2020 on whom KPGFootball has been very high for years.
