We love to feature the middle schoolers offseason. It is a great way to replenish our database which gets annually depleted by graduation. Harrison McGraw plays offensive center along with defensive line and is a player whose progression we intend to closely monitor. As the ’22 class leaves us here at the magazine, we are in the midst of augmenting our database with kids formerly in middle school headed to the high school game. We have featured quite a few McLean County Cougars through the years. There is a reason for this…they are A’s second-district. Jacob Parker, the one to whom the white arrow points, is a late to the party player like so many others we have before featured. Parker transferred in to Breathitt from a high school which didn’t field a football team. He has been a wonderful surprise with a work-ethic which encircles many kids his age and has now worked himself into someone we have noticed. Look for him to start along the Big Blue Wave in ’22 at OT and to contribute at DE. HB.
