Landon Robinson, OL, from Covington Catholic is our @bigassfans Kentucky Comfort Creator of the Week @bigassfans, @eCampusdotcom, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @LRobinson_09, @CovCathFBAlumni, @CovCathFootball, @NDFootball

The real difference between big time Kentucky football programs and just programs, particularly in football, are “The Bigs.” I was talking with a newly hired, 6A head football coach and I told him, no matter how many flashy skills you can muster the real difference in big-timers versus the imposters reside along the lines of scrimmage. Your Boyle Counties, your Covington Catholics, your Lexington Catholics, they seem able to develop and deploy quality linemen up and down the roster. Landon Robinson is a great example. This kid missed five (5) games of action owing to breaking his nose a season ago but was in the starting lineup when available. This guy has all the tools to be a really high priority target for college programs searching for quality linemen which its pretty much every, single year. Enjoy the feature and let’s keep it comfortable out there, Kentucky!

Is Jalen Dantzler the best safety in @khsaafootball? Yep. @JalenDantzler_9, @CoachDantzler, @CHSJacketFB, @KyHighFootball, @Doug_Preston1, @bigassfans, @eCampusdotcom

February 12, 2026 Fletcher Long 0

Jalen Dantzler is either the best athlete in the high school game in Kentucky or certainly among them. This kid, frankly, has shown this offseason a penchant for doing physical things other kids just can’t. This kid is running the 40 in under 4.4-seconds, shuttling in the low 4.2’s, broad jumping close to 11-feet, all while standing a minimus of 6’2,” with a long reach and lengthy frame which may even add an inch or two before it is all said and done. This kid had a dynamite junior season for the Yellow Jackets and figures to add a senior year for the story books. At the end of the day, Jalen Dantzler is a high end, Division I backend guy with all the physical attributes and characteristics coveted by the “Big Boys.” Enjoy the feature.

Carter Smith (’28) is our Bank of Cadiz feature of the Week @KatherineL58069, @WyattRobbins9, @MurrayQBClub, @LasatersCoffee, @eCampusdotcom, @bigassfans, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @Ale8One, @CountyColonels, @HopHighTigers, @murrayFB

Carter Smith is indicative of the type youth movement the Lakers are enjoying since bringing on Coby Lewis to head its football program. Smith is a young, two-way lineman with a sturdy frame and very good power numbers in the weight room. This offseason will be critical for this prospect as the team will go as far in ’26 as two-way linemen like Smith can take it. Enjoy this look at this very fine, young player from your friends and neighbors at The Cadiz Bank & Trust Company. We are excited to sponsor and promote these fine, young student athletes from the areas where we thrive and who support and promote our services and financial products. Enjoy this feature.

We bet you didn’t know a Kee Klamp is a real thing. It is a galvanized, steel pipe fitting with thread-less connections used to create pipe hand railing and other pipe-based structures. Our Graham Keyklamp shares some characteristics with the Kee Klamp used in construction. In this feature we will tell you about this star from Montgomery County and his plans to thrive under the tutelage of a brand spanking new head football coach. Enjoy the feature.

DJ Wren was a lucky find for the Wildcats (Lynn Camp) from Corbin @campcoach, @Nick_King25, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @bigassfans, @eCampusdotcom

January 31, 2026 Fletcher Long 0

DJ Wren was a tremendous running back at the 1A level for the Lynn Camp Wildcats from Corbin, KY. Wren averaged nearly 9-yards per carry and close to 200-yards a night. Wren was the team’s leading passer, rusher, scorer, tackler, and tackler behind the enemy line. Wren is a varsity basketball player too who figures to have a bright future ahead of him regardless of where or in what sport he happens to spend it. This guy is just one of many examples of outstanding football players who go undiscovered, every season, throughout the Bluegrass. Enjoy this look at a kid who made our Small-School All-State Football team this past season.

Brady Hull from Pulaski County is a big man readying for a Huge Performance @BradyHull1, @bigassfans, @eCampusdotcom, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @coachtaburns, @PCHSFB

January 10, 2026 Fletcher Long 2

For those of you who actually follow this game, the name “Brady Hull” is not unfamiliar to you. Truth is, Hull has been considered among the very best trenchman since arriving in the 9th grade from a tremendously ballyhooed middle school career. The fact Hull has rounded into a high school star with dozens of D1 offers is a surprise to exactly no one. His senior year is upcoming and this offseason is critical for him to continue to develop into the type of player he wants and strives to be. This kid has very good length more than making up for his being on the slight side, size wise. Enjoy this look at the KHSAA’s top rated OL in the ’27 class.

Luis Lira, from Calloway County, is our Bank of Cadiz featured player @CClakerfootball, @Coach_CobyLewis, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @bigassfans, @eCampusdotcom

January 5, 2026 Fletcher Long 0

We continue on with our offseason coverage not really discussing players of the week so much as discussing featured players and prospects. Luis Ira is a ’26 left guard who was an unsung hero for his Laker ball club which experienced, under first year head football coach, Coby Lewis quite the remarkable turnaround. The Lakers went from winless in ’24 to six (6) wins in ’25 and proved a competitive spirit along the way. People around this program are excited about the strides it is making in a city (Murray, KY) getting known as a hotbed of football competitiveness on Kentucky’s western end. Enjoy the feature.

Stay away from the A-Gap, LCA may sport the most imposing Guard/Center combo in the KHSAA @matthewmont57, @LCAathletics, @CoachDCharles, @eCampusdotcom, @bigassfans, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball

January 3, 2026 Fletcher Long 0

Good lines, whether at the high school, college, or even the professional level are solid up the middle. The shortest distance between any two points is a straight line. That is why pressure up the A-Gap, in a straight line to the players handling the football in the offensive backfield, is “no bueno.” LCA didn’t have to concern itself much with A-Gap pressure. The Eagles had a pair of All-State performers in the A-Gap in guard, Matthew Montgomery, and center, Nick Greer. Their continued strong play will be instrumental in any chance the Eagles have to repeat in ’26. With all of the young talent returning to the roster, chances of another title added to the program’s previous two looks like pretty fair odds to us. Enjoy the feature.
