Before we left Greenbrier for another one of the Robertson County Schools (we’ll be back, don’t worry), we thought we would feature the big left tackle for the Bobcats. You call him “Big No. 75” and we call him Noah Batey. Batey is a next-level player whose deficiencies are fixable. What he does have in spades is a motor, large frame with plenty of length, and athleticism. He plays with his hips sunk, lowering his pad level to where an OL coach would want it. Meric-Dean Stinson, Class of 2019, Henderson County Colonels, is this week’s Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week

We don’t know how the Henderson County Colonels will replace players like this week’s recipient, Meric-Dean Stinson. It is not everyday a team is fortunate enough to have a guy with Stinson’s heart and fight in the line-up. Make no mistake, Stinson was as responsible for the Colonels’s turn-around in 2018 as any other player on the team. No one works harder than Meric-Dean Stinson and efforts like his are worthy of recognition and celebration. That is exactly why he is being recognized this week by Kentucky’s fastest growing (and hardest working) financial institution, Independence Bank. For NorthWest High School in Clarksville, Tennessee to reach its full potential it will need all hands on deck in 2019. One of the most important hands will be those of Kazmir Hansford who will be entering his senior season. Hansford has played RB/WR/ and even a little QB. Nothing makes a program appear it has things rolling any better than an endless succession of quality front-line guys. Springfield High School certainly has its program rocketing. Coach Dustin Wilson will have the Jackets ready for action again in 2019 and we believe Tres Haley will be an integral part. Not a lot about this prospect as we couldn’t even find his height and weight anywhere on line. Just another example of why what we do at KPGFootball is so vital for these kids. We were able to watch his film and believe he will be back at Kenwood for the Fall of 2019 as he was listed on Kenwood’s 2019 roster and there were several other references to him on line coming back for the Fall season. This is the type of player a new coach can definitely impact and if Les Greer brings to the table the attributes which got him the job, this player may be one of the heaviest beneficiaries. Hopkins County Central’s Kaison Osbourne is this weeks Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week

Losing a 6-1, 280 pounder from the middle of your lines of scrimmage is never an easy hole to fill. The Storm will miss big Kaison Osbourne who will playing on Saturdays in the Fall at the University of the Cumberlands. Thought we better hurry up and award him the Independence Bank’s Revolutionary Player of the week before he got away to college.
