This week’s recipient was a LB from Owensboro Senior who displayed (once again) for anyone interested his extraordinary physical abilities and prowess. Talk about a young football player capable of Herculean feats, Braxton Laney is so accomplished he has now been awarded the Robertson County Player of the Week twice and he hasn’t enrolled in high school yet. We believe this guy is a Varsity starter, first-game, first-snap. Join us next week as your friends at Stewart Williams Furniture Company rewards another player.
Jordan Miles, though only currently in 7th grade, is certainly a name Madisonville area football fans want to begin to monitor. He’s already among the top of his graduating class, Kentucky-wide, as a football prospect and someone who may even garner early college offers. Regardless, he is the Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week which is its own reward. Join us next week as we select a new recipient.
This week’s recipient plays in Elkton, Kentucky. Elkton and Clarksville have a close and historical connection even today, so we went ahead and featured him. Manuel Espinosa of Kenwood High School is the Meeks and Meeks Montgomery County Player of the Week this week. He’s a 6-4, 300-pound, Class of 2021 prospect who has the size and frame to be as good as he wants.
