This week’s “Revolutionary Player of the Week” is a top-flight, 2022 defender playing for Calloway County High School. His name is Montrell Rogers. He, very quietly and without much fanfare, had over 80-tackles in just 11-games in 2019. This feature is brought to you weekly by the folks over at Independence Bank. Punters and Kickers are too often overlooked. When you have someone like Brain Baker punting and kicking for your high school team, you get to witness that one-third of the game really impact outcomes. Powell County and its new coach, Mike Jones, will be blessed to have one of Kentucky’s only 5-star, nationally ranked, high school players handling that aspect of the game in 2020. Enjoy the article.
