Someone who has made a home, especially along the defensive front for the Class 4A, State Runner-up, Yellow Jackets is Class of 2020 DL Austin Stiltner. Austin is a 6-3, 200 pound lineman who is most commonly deployed at either tackle or end. He has quick get-off and burst into the backfield and bends well coming off the end. He also exhibits an ability to read the backfield action and come down the line of scrimmage to close on plays attempting to run away from him. Austin takes good angles to the ball carrier and closes fast. The best thing about Austin is he has the length and frame to add good weight and round into a real prospect provided he is willing to put in the work offseason to continue to develop physically and hang more muscle on his slender build. In any event, Coach Dustin Wilson’s Yellow Jackets will be relying heavily on Stiltner should it wish to get to the Championship game, again this year, with a shot at redemption and another opportunity to bring home a title to go with the State Championship the program won under Coach Randy Thomas in 1995.
