This week’s Todd County Central Rebel of the Week is Class of 2020 JaTwan Graham

The Todd County Central HS Rebel of the Week is...

KPGFootball is proud to be the exclusive digital coverage provider of the Todd County Central Rebels football team. Todd County, as this on-line publication has before reported, has a lot of exciting things going on in and around its football program. The Rebels will be coached this upcoming season by veteran football coach, Darell Keith, and return a lot of young talent from off a 6-5 football team. The excitement about the program and its future prospects has resulted in an uptick in financial donations permitting the program to initiate some exciting facility upgrades. These upgrades will leave the field and press box area unparalleled anywhere in the immediate area regarding high school football facilities. They include field, natural turf improvements and modernizing the press box at the stadium permitting luxury viewing accommodations for major supporters of the team. The renovated press box will be furnished lavishly and will feature big screen televisions in the booth from which the on-field action will be monitored by both patrons and working press during game action. We have selected Class of 2020 FB/MLB/NG JaTwan Graham as this week’s Todd County Central Rebel of the Week.

JaTwan Graham is a class of 2020 kid who many would reference as a throw back player from an age when football was even more physical than it is today. I mean a fullback? Who even uses a fullback anymore? Well…you might be surprised, because we believe the use of a fullback is becoming more and more en vogue. You are starting to see Spread teams deploy the H-back in the running game similar to how the old fullback was deployed. Teams are moving away from the pass-happy era of offenses and beginning to reassert their ground games. I know one Rebel happy about this…well, actually if you count the head coach, I know two. Graham, last year had 62 rushing attempts for 214 yards and 3 rushing TDs to go along with his 37 tackles he made on defense over the course of his sophomore campaign. We look for the 5-9, 230 pound Robert Newhouse type of old-school fullback to see his carries, yards from scrimmage, and rushing TDs go way up this next season. When reached for comment, Coach Darell Keith told us Graham is the very embodiment of the old school fullback. He gets downhill in a hurry. He’s intimidating and hard to confront. It would be fool-hardy to not use a weapon like that as an emphasis in our offensive attack.

Congratulations JaTwan Graham for being this week’s Todd County Central Rebel of the Week.
