This was a big game on Morton’s Gap a year ago and it proves to be a big game in Lewisport, Kentucky this upcoming weekend. Hancock County got shelled its last time out and Central is coming off a victory. How do those factors move the needle? We will discuss that within.

The Storm get ready to welcome Webster County to Morton’s Gap. With district heavyweights Hancock and McLean on the horizon, and a loss to Union County last week, the games with Trigg and Webster are key to making the playoffs. Central is battling for that fourth chair in this musical chairs game we know as first district ball. The Storm can win this game. The Storm must win this game.

The Storm have a huge mountain to climb Friday night as it travels to Badgett Stadium, cross town, to play a red hot Maroons team from North-Hopkins. North is 2-0 and ranked the 22nd best football team in Kentucky regardless of classification. We’re not sure there has ever been a Maroon’s team more highly regarded. We will break down this matchup and some of the personnel which will factor into the outcome. Enjoy the feature.

The final preseason tune-up bode well for the near future as the Storm went 4-0 in varsity and JV scrimmages in a three team round robin including Russellville and Ohio County. We will break down the action from that outing and see if we can’t read the tea leaves regarding the upcoming future. Enjoy this feature.

Tough one coming up this Friday Night! Union County rolls into town 4-0 and poised to take the 1st-District, 3A, crown. Still, the Storm has a real opportunity here. We discuss it herein. Enjoy the feature
No time to cry over spilt milk, the Storm has a winnable game upcoming in Marion, Kentucky tomorrow night. We have to get right back on the horse, so to speak, and Marion, Kentucky has proven a tough place to mount for many teams over the years. This is a winnable game and will tell us lots about where we are as a program. FL.
Tough night in Morton’s Gap as the matchup with North didn’t go as Central fans would have liked. However, there is still plenty of season left to go and the Storm has every reason to feel good about where it stands going forward heading toward district play. Enjoy this recap…FL.
Weather was dicey all over Kentucky last night, pushing many games over until tonight. In Oak Grove, Kentucky it was smooth sailing as Central ran its record to 2-0 besting the Falcons 60-28. Enjoy the feature. FL.
