Zander Curry is a throwback to the days when college football stars were versatile and called upon often to contribute to the team’s efforts in all three phases of the game. This kid scores TD’s, long-snaps, houses kick-offs, makes tackles, recovers fumbles, and even intercepts passes (7-INT’s in ’22). If he is going to do all that, perhaps he should just take home next year’s Mr. Football Award while he is at it. Enjoy the feature. HB.

This prospect has been likened to Wandale Robinson. We watch him and believe him to be more of a Jay Becherer clone. Regardless, he is likened to two exceptional former high school players both of whom flourished in college. We believe before it is said and done, this kid here will do likewise. Not everyone hits the lineup when the “experts” believe they should. In some programs it is much harder to hit the field than in others.
