Jaden “Melo” White has committed to play his high school ball at the Central Storm and, in so doing, provides an explosive, big-frame athlete who can play on the edge or in the middle of the defenses second level. Scouting Report: Russellville Next Scrimmage Up Before Season Starts; Transfer Rumors[?]

We are steamrolling into the season opener on August 23rd. There is still the matter of a scrimmage against the Russellville Panthers. The Panthers were an extremely young, inexperienced team a year ago. These guys are always athletic and the added experience should indicate a different Panther squad than the one we saw limp to a 2-9 finish in 2023. Enjoy this “scouting report.” Friday Night Fletch.

We featured this guy a year ago, in June of ’23. It was our prediction he would crack the lineup sometime over his freshman season. Well, he got in a game but didn’t exactly crack the lineup. There has been some graduation attrition since then and he seems assured of getting plenty of PT over the course of his upcoming sophomore season. Enjoy this look at Central’s Cruz Cavanaugh. We can assure you Central is plenty thankful it picked up a versatile athlete the likes of Silas Gunn. Gunn came through for the Storm, big-time, particularly roaming the defensive back-third.
