It isn’t uncommon for players to play high school football for their dads. Matter of fact, 1956 Heisman, runner-up, and College Football Hall of Famer, Johnny “The Drum” Majors, played for his dad in high school (Shirley Majors) at Huntland High. Often, as was the case in the Majors’s situation, the son is the dad’s very best player. Mike Marksbury has done a wonderful job at Spencer County. One has to wonder how much his son, Kellen, has done to further dad’s coaching career. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch

Well, this young prospect is obviously a Snoop Dogg fan. So are we. He’s also Kadin Smith’s little brother and we remember how much of a stud Kadin was in high school before being recruited to play football in the Big-10 for Purdue. Well, Jamarion appears set to launch on a similar flight trajectory. It is coming up on his sophomore year and he has already clocked 40’s in the 4.5’s. It appears it is his time, and with Spencer County coming off a 4-6 year, that time can’t come any sooner for the Bears faithful. Enjoy the article about Jay the Jet.
