Wilson is one of the class of ’26’s top guys in the offensive backfield. Already a thousand yard rusher in his sophomore season, Paducah fans are excited about what this young man may develop into being. We voted for Layton Davis, first-team (on our AP ballot), when he was still at Caldwell County last season. Layton was “Honorably Mentioned” on the AP team and first-team on KPGFootball’s squad as only a junior. There isn’t a coach in the West who wouldn’t pick him first if assembling a team and needing an inside presence along the front. This kid is All-State, all day long, and our sources tell us might possibly be headed to play for Lindsey-Wilson. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Someone contacted old Coach Lyons and asked when we were going to put out our preseason top-10 football polls for each classification. Well, today seemed like as good a day as any to start. Since KPGFootball started with the top classification when picking district winners, this time we started with Class 1A.
