Mason Gardner is 6A’s King of the End Zone. At least, that is what the statistics from ’22 tells us. This is a kid who put 172-points on the scoreboard in 12-games or 14.3-points per outing. Central Hardin narrowly lost its Regional Championship game to the team which eventually won it all. To say folks in Hardin County are excited to see what Gardner and crew will do in ’23 may be a bit of an understatement. We love athletes who remember the “student” portion of “student-athlete.” Nehemiah Lucky is certainly one of those. Lucky sports a 3.8 GPA at Louisville’s Fern Creek High. That doesn’t mean he can’t play some ball. He was elected captain a year ago in spite of his only getting to play in 6-games and was still among the club leaders in stops.
