This usually is a pretty fun article. A few days ago we posted the “KPGFootball Scorecard.” On that document we memorialized the matchup and just who we believed would win and why. What we do in the scorecard is give you the solution. What we don’t do is demonstrate how we worked the problem. Thursdays, during the football season, we often publish an article which “shows our math.” If you read this article you will see why we picked the teams we picked to win and why we picked the teams we picked to lose. Cade Scott is raring to go and improve on what his teammates and he did in ’23. The Green Wave were quick out of the gate, winning five of the first six, then faded down the stretch, losing one of its last games by a solitary point to Pleasure Ridge Park (Lou.). Scott is a 6’5,” 200 pound QB who can play LB (if need be) and punts. He is also a varsity B-Baller. Outside of all that, he is rounding into one of the more sought after athletes, KY-wide, in the 2026 graduating class. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch.

We believe this is the first time we have awarded the Jerky Prize package to a head football coach. Well, it isn’t exactly everyday some head football coach celebrates his 350th win. There have only been two others in HS history in Kentucky to have had such a celebration, Phillip Haywood and Dudley Hilton. Enjoy this feature about a tremendous football coach who appears headed straight to the HOF.
