Jackson Grantz, from Lafayette High (Lex.), one of the @khsaafootball’s true hidden gems @YetteFootball, @SportsLafayette, @bigassfans, @eCampusdotcom, @KyHighFootball

Talk about your versatility. Jackson Grantz can do it all, literally. Grantz, in 2025, in 10-games of run, registered 90-tackles, 2-TFLs, 2-INTs, 84-IRNYs, and a pick-six. Grantz made 23-PATs and a pair of FGs. Grantz led the team in scoring with 59-points (4-TDs receiving, 1-INT return, 2-FGs, 23-PATs). Grantz caught 19-balls for 232-yards and four (4) scores. Wow! Remember, this cat is playing 6A, District 7 football. Not a ton of three-phase guys playing “Big Boy” football. Grants is 6’0,” 185 pounds who runs a 4.4 40-yard dash, clips off the 100-meter in 11.2-seconds, shuttles in 4.3-seconds, verts 31.9-inches, and bench presses 245-pounds. This guy maybe among the best football players in Kentucky about whom you haven’t heard much. Get ready, you will hear from him this year.

This Matthew Hardin guy is not messing around when it comes to preparing for the ’23 season. Enjoy this feature about a top-flight ’25 LB from Lexington, Kentucky and try to learn the type effort required to get to the top level of Kentucky High School Football. FL.

This is a player who got in one varsity game a year ago. Of course, he was a freshman playing Kentucky 6A football. We believe he will play early and often in ’22 as he is too good of an athlete to keep off the field. Keep an eye out on this “Breakout Player.” He has some mighty fine days ahead of him. HB.

@TaydenMackey from @LafayetteFBall is the next ‘Breakout Player’ ready to launch onto the @KyHighFootball scene! @minguabeefjerky @lhs_fbboosters @coachb73 @CoachPNyc1 @PrepSpin @1776Bank

Here is a guy who can play any of the five offensive line positions as a high schooler, including out on the edge where Lafayette plays him. However, we believe Mackey’s future in college is along the interior and we believe he is an offensive lineman at the next level though we wouldn’t rule out his playing “strong tackle” or nose in college in suitable schemes. Enjoy the feature about a lineman flying under the radar but one who promises his best football is still ahead of him. HB.
