Greenbrier High School’s Paxton Maness is the Stewart Williams Robertson County Player of the Week

Obviously, with the team coming off a 43-0 loss to Springfield High School, standing at 2-7 through its first 9 with traditional power, White House High School visiting tonight looking to make the Bobcats 208, the team has seen better days from a standpoint of on-field success. That aside, the Bobcats have some young players both playing well now and whose play should only get better as these young-ones mature. One of the bright spots has been the play of T-NG Paxton Maness. Maness is a Class of 2022 kids who looks ready to take off. Enjoy this week’s story about the Stewart Williams Robertson County Player of the Week!

Part two of the Class of 2023, Kentucky’s “Freshman Fifteen…”

June 26, 2019 Henry Lyon 0

This is part two of a two part series we are calling the “Freshman Fifteen.” These aren’t necessarily the best fifteen football players or prospects in Kentucky but they are fifteen players we believe most likely to play before the 2019 season is over in the varsity lineup. Some will play because the team has specific need where they are slotted and some will play because they are just that good. We published the first 8 players in this series yesterday and have now finished up with the other seven. Enjoy part two of the two part series we entitled “The Freshman Fifteen.” HB.

Deangelo Patterson, RB, Class of 2023…

Teams are always looking for help at RB. Having entering 9th graders who can tote the mail like this kid is of invaluable importance to any program. Rising 9th graders like Deangelo Patterson are not your garden variety of rising 9th graders. Players like him find themselves immediately in the discussion for PT. The same will be true of Patterson when he hits the 9th grade hallways at WCHS.
